Esa Karppinen, Chairman and Majority Shareholder

Esa Karppinen received his LL.M. degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Helsinki in 1980. In 1983-1986 he acted as the deputy managing director of EXPACO Ab, one of the first venture capital companies listed on the Helsinki Stock Exchange. After the acquisition of several companies in 1986, he became a self-employed entrepreneur. One of these companies was Hotel Marketing Ltd., founded in 1972, and since renamed Hotelzon International. Mr. Karppinen has, over a period of 20 years, built a successful privately-owned group, which is one of the largest privately owned companies in Finland. This company is the majority shareholder in Hotelzon International.

Ismo Huumonen, CFO

Mr. Huumonen graduated from the University of Tampere majoring in accounting. After graduation he worked in Halton Group and FiboxOy, both two companies being medium sized industrial companies with an international setup and officies in several countries around the world. In Halton he supported the establishment of an internal bank and was responsible for setting up the reporting system. In FiboxOy he acted as Group Controller. Prior to joining  the Hotelzon Group, he was the Finance and Operation Director at Fujitsu Siemens Computers Finland.. Mr. Huumonen joined Hotelzon International as a Chief Finance Officer in September of 2005.

Jani Kaskinen, CEO

Mr. Kaskinen graduated from Henley, England as MBA. Mr. Kaskinen is an experienced IT executive who has worked for over 10 years in the software industry. Mr. Kaskinen spent close to eight years with the world leading EPP software provider - Basware, his various roles including VP of Sales & Marketing and VP of Global Product Sales. More recently he was employed by Customer Value Group in England as the Commercial Director where he was responsible for product offering,  and sales and marketing. Mr. Kaskinen joined Hotelzon in 2008.
